Many libraries with curbside service, some libraries with limited opening.

As a precaution to help prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), many our library buildings are closed to the public. Free online resources are available. As of March 16, 2020, late fees for library items are not being charged to your account. All previous fines and fees will remain. Please view our press release for more details.

The Tavares Public Library offers curbside service during this period of closure. Patrons must have a physical library card to request items. Call 352-742-6204 or email aarmstrong@tavares.org ahead of time. Items can also be requested through the online catalog.

Service is available:

Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 4:30pm.

For library card questions, email servreq@mylakelibrary.org.
