Florida History and Myth at the Festival
“Florida Adventures: History & Myth” will be presented at the Paisley County Library on Thursday, March 18th at 4 p.m. Popular authors John Henry Fleming, Steve Rajtar, Jim Robison will cover the historical aspects of Florida in dialog and photography and the wildly imaginative creatures that could populate the sunshine state.

Sixth Annual Bluegrass Festival
East Lake County Library hosts the Sixth Annual Bluegrass Festival March 13, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Performers include Dixie Bluegrass (Formerly Blue Mountain Grass), Pine Creek Bluegrass and Dulcimer Ensemble. All performances will be on site at East Lake County Library, 31340 County Road 437 South in Sorrento.

Romantic Adventures in Paradise
Romance is in the air at the 2010 Festival of Reading. Popular authors Nancy J. Cohen, Catherine Kean, Elizabeth Sinclair, Cynthia Thomason and Michelle Young will be appearing and offering insight into their works. They are members of Central Florida Romance Writers and First Coast Romance Writers, affiliate chapters of the national organization of Romance Writers of America.

The Lake County Library System will offer Plant your Spring Garden programs at the Umatilla Public Library on Thursday, March 4th @ 10 a.m. and at the Paisley County Library on Tuesday, March 16th @ 11 a.m.. Lake County Residential Horticulture Agent, Charles Fedunak will present information on Florida-Friendly Landscaping ™, planning your garden and planting for the spring.
