News Release

For immediate release - March 16, 2020

All 16 libraries closed until further notice.

 
 

All 16 library locations are closed until further notice as a precaution to
help prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Many
libraries are available via phone/email, but hours may change. Our
libraries are not accepting item donations at this time. Our delivery
service, Books By Mail, is not available during this period of closure.

Items will be automatically renewed and late fees waived during
this extended period of closure. 
Item reservations are paused
but will resume once libraries open.

Note: Presidential Primary Preference elections (early voting and
election day) still occurred in March at our designated libraries.

Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.
This allows any Lake County Library card holder to
check out physical items shelved at the Leesburg
Public Library
, then pull up to the Elk Street loading
dock to get the items. Please call or email the library
