W. T. Bland Public Library and the Lake County Adult Literacy Program are proud to present a free class to prepare immigrants for U.S. Citizenship. The instructor, Ms. Fransje Zucchero, from Holland, is herself a naturalized citizen who is eager to use her experience of becoming a United States citizen to help others do the same.
In this free 5-week class, students can ask questions about the process of becoming a citizen, receive help filling out government forms, learn about U.S. history and civics, and practice interviewing skills. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 5:45 pm to 7:45 pm and will run from March 3–31, 2015.
The class and study materials are free, but registration is required. To register or obtain more information, call or stop by the W.T. Bland Public Library at 1995 N. Donnelly St., Mount Dora, 352-735-7180, or contact Rachel Dellinger at literacy@lakeline.lib.fl.us.
