No longer a novice
to this group
my name has spread
I am the fool

the echoing murmur
from out their throats
names me a friend
I am the fool

we only converse
when we're the only
life denies me this
I am the fool

Isolation surrounds me
enters and drowns me
lives in my shadow
I am the fool

You don't ever see it
statements of insanity
you don't ever see me
I am the fool

once ignorance filled
thought ya'll liked me
now I see
I am the fool
