Career Online High School

Career Online High School (COHS) offers adults
the opportunity to earn an accredited high
school diploma and a career certificate free online.

Florida state funding for COHS ended in 2019. Therefore, the
Lake County Library System is unable to register new
students for the program.

We hope this program will become available in the future, and
encourage the public to check with us for updates in 2021.

The Lake County Library System has two free options
for studying for the GED. Everyone is welcome pick
one or both.

Learning Express is an online database is available 24/7
and has GED tutorials and practice tests. It's found under:

www.mylakelibrary.org > Databases > Learning Express

You must register on the Learning Express website
for a free account to access the material.

 The Adult Literacy Program helps adult learners who are interested
in improving their English speaking and writing skills, studying
for the U.S. Citizenship test, studying for the GED and more. Adult
learners are paired with trained adult volunteer tutors and meet
for group classes and one-on-one tutoring in one of our 16 libraries.
