Cooper Memorial Library is hosting a Battle of the Bands for Teens on May 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Five bands will be competing for a total cash prize of $600 provided by the Friends of Cooper Memorial Library. The judged competition will take place in the Community Room. Sound equipment and an engineer will be courtesy of SMS Productions. The five bands competing are, The Phazed, a hard rock band; Chernobyl, a heavy metal band; Ekleipsis, a musical progressive band; Something Different, a rock band; and B-Cool & Eva, a rapper and pianist. Admission is free so come out and enjoy an afternoon of fun and music!
