Texas Roadhouse will be helping at us celebrate
Dr. Seuss’s birthday at the library with face-painting,
crafts and of course, reading. There will also be a
special appearance by the Cat in the Hat!

Umatilla Public Library
21st Annual Citywide Yard Sale
Saturday, March 7, 2020 @ 8am - 2pm
All ages
This annual event will be held at the
Umatilla Public Library. There will be a
large book sale, vendor spaces on the lawn,
and sale sites throughout town. Map of yard
sales will be available at the library starting
Friday, March 6. Proceeds benefit the children’s
programs at the library.

 

East Lake County Library (Sorrento)
7th Annual Heritage Festival
Saturday, March 7, 2020 @ 9am - 2:30pm
All ages
Come out for food, fun, games and more!
There will be nature exhibits, vendors and a craft
market. The Blackwater Creek Bluegrass Band will
perform. Watch Showtime USA’s “2nd Annual
Show and Shine”, a competition with monster
trucks and ATVs. Admission and parking are free.
Presented by the East Lake Historical Society.

Shannon Caine has been performing in Central Florida
for over 30 years with a career that includes performances
with many of Orlando’s finest groups and orchestras,
such as Sea World Believe Show, Walt Disney Fairy
Tale Weddings, and the Candlelight Orchestra.

BBAM (Books, Baked Goods, Art & Music) Fest!

Local artists exhibit their wares and local musicians
will perform for free! All proceeds from books and
baked goods donations will benefit the Friends of
Astor Library

7th Annual Literary Arts Festival

Located in the big white tent on Main Street.
Coinciding with the annual Leesburg Arts Festival,
the Library hosts 20 local authors at our Literary
Arts Festival. Meet and chat with local indie writers. 
Books will be available for sale and signing. You
will find great reads for youth and adults: fiction,
memoirs and more.

Route 66. Folk singer and humorist Craig Siemsen will
explore the 2,448 miles of songs, stories, legends
and humor of Route 66.
