Chess Tournament at the Cagan Crossings Library
Join the Cagan Library on Saturday, March 4th for two concurrent Chess Tournaments. One is free entry and open to any who wish to participate. The other is a United States Chess Federation sanctioned tournament (USCF) for which entry entry fees apply.
Prizes for the sanctioned tournament are $200 / $100 / $50 for top 3 finishes plus trophies. Prize money is based on 10 full-paid registrations. Trophies also provided for top three finishes in the free tournament. Structure of tournament is 5/SS G/40 d/5. First round begins at 9AM, so please arrive by 8:40 to have round assignments set up. Entry fee for the USCF tournament is $40 or $50 at door. Senior (65+) and Junior (15 and under) entry rate is $20 or $30 at door.
