The Lake County Library System is welcoming New York Times bestselling author Tim Dorsey for an author talk and book signing in October. Starting Wednesday, Oct. 21, he will be at the Cooper Memorial Library, located at 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont from 3-5 p.m. and then the Leesburg Public Library, 100 East Main Street, Leesburg from 6-7:45 p.m. On Thursday, Oct. 22 from 3-4:30 p.m., Dorsey will visit the Astor County Library, 54905 Alco Road, Astor, and the W.T. Bland Public Library, 1995 North Donnelly Street, Mount Dora, from 6-7:30 p.m.
Dorsey currently lives in Tampa and is best known for his series of crime capers set in Florida. His writing is reminiscent of Carl Hiassen. Coconut Cowboy will be Dorsey’s 19th book to be released in January 2016 and features the Serge Storms character, a serial killer knowledgeable of everything Florida.
The event is free and open to the public.
