Estate Planning Program @ the Leesburg Public Library

Take the confusion out of estate planning with this free program. Attorneys Jason A. Davis and Lea Anne Groover of the law firm of ShuffieldLowman, will provide tips and insights into areas of crucial importance when it comes to estate planning, including important aspects of wills, trusts, power-of-attorney, and living wills at the Leesburg Public Library on Wednesday, August 12th at 2:00pm. This program is free and open to the public.

Jason Davis is the head of ShuffieldLowman's Lake County office, located in Tavares. He is an experienced estate planning attorney, who also practices in the areas of corporate formations, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements and business succession planning. A Lake County native with deep roots in the community, he serves as a member of the Cornerstone Hospice Foundation Board, on the Lake & Sumter County Habitat for Humanity Board and he is the current President of the Lake & Sumter County Habitat for Humanity Foundation. He is a graduate of Rollins College, with a B.A. in Economics; Stetson University with an M.B.A. and University of Florida College of Law with a J.D.

Lea Anne Groover, formerly the Chief Fiduciary Officer of Seaside National Bank & Trust, has more than 28 years of trust and estate administration, trust operations, wealth management and financial consulting experience that she brings to her practice in the areas of estate planning, taxation and trust & estate administration. She holds a B.S. from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the University of Central Florida. In addition, she is a Certified Financial Planner®, Certified Trust and Finance Advisor and a Chartered Financial Consultant.
