The Friends of Marion Baysinger Memorial Library are hosting the Garden Fest 2015 fundraiser at the library on Saturday, April 18th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a Gardening Demonstration and a Floral Arranging Presentation by Kim E’s Flowers. Plaster Cottage of Clermont will be painting garden ornaments with children. Green Isle Gardens, Marian Gardens Tree Farm, and Agri-Starts are just a few of the businesses, along with Kim E’s and Plaster Cottage, sponsoring this event.

Come and stroll through our plant sale, listen to music, bid on silent auction items, play games, win prizes, and have some popcorn and a hot dog. Ace Hardware in Groveland has donated gardening items and a $10 gift card for our Garden Fest Gift Assortment Raffle. Other items in the raffle are a wooden wagon planter, a $20 Lowe’s gift card, and a $20 Home Depot gift card. Raffle tickets are just $1. The lucky winner will be drawn at 2:00 p.m. on the day of the fundraiser.

Da Vida will be performing from noon to 1:00 p.m. Da Vida formed in 2011 and is comprised of four sisters: Elena, Mariah, Michaela, and Olivia Guerrero. Together they write, sing, and play guitar. With an abundance of original music and cover songs, they have a large variety of music to offer. They are donating their talent and time to their local library for this special event.
