Are you interested in film making?  Do you love your library?  You can help get the word out to other young people! Teens ages 13 – 18 have a chance to win $150 by creating a 30 – 90 second video promoting the use of public libraries. These short but very cool public service announcements will be used to encourage other teens to read, participate in library programs and register for their very own public library card.

Contest rules can be found on Lake County Library System Teen Video Challenge entry forms which can be picked up at your local public library or downloaded here.  Upload your completed video to YouTube.com or Vimeo.com with the title “2015 TVC LAKE COUNTY (video title)”.

The Red Carpet Awards Ceremony will be held Friday, May 1, at the Tavares Civic Center from 6 to7:30 p.m. A $50 prize will be given from best celebrity or prom attire. These great prizes are sponsored by Insight Credit Union.
