Genealogy Help Sessions
Get free assistance in beginning genealogy research. Classes offer help with basic genealogy forms, census records, other research forms and general help with genealogy questions. Times vary: 11 a.m. Tuesday; 10 a.m. Wednesday; 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

CML Writers Group
This takes place every second and fourth Wednesday of the month. All aspiring and published writers are welcome to share, interact and discuss their works.
1 - 3 p.m. Schedule: Nov 12
The Pastfinders are South Lake County's genealogy group. Meetings are at 5 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month in room 108, except during summer months. Membership is open to everyone interested in learning about genealogy research and preserving their family history. The Computer Users Group meets the third Wednesday of each month, except during summer months, from 1 -3 p.m. in room 221 on the second floor.

Opera at the Library
Opera at the Library invites students and the public to attend educational programs, classes and discussions on opera and the operatic experience. Norma Trivelli, Lake-Sumter State College adjunct professor of foreign languages and voice, conducts the programs.
