  The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 4,767 groups with 6,889,000 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills.

  The Lake County Library System Libraries now have a genre of books and information which reflects the ‘green initiative’ sweeping the country. This important movement encourages communities to develop a new consciousness of how to build homes, communities, family and personal lives conserving the earth and its resources. It is to become more effective in the use of our environment’s renewable and non-renewable resources.
